Associate Professor Serena Lucrezi

Dr. Serena Lucrezi works as an associate professor at TREES, North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, South Africa. She obtained a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies at the University of the Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia. Her work focuses on environmental impact assessments of human activities on coastal and marine habitats, as well as the human dimensions of marine-based activities, including coastal and offshore tourism and recreation, with a particular emphasis on marine governance, destination management, and capacity development. She authored 70 scientific papers.
