Congratulations to Dr. G.K. Jayathilaka for receiving Senate Honours for her article “The Worldmaking Agency of Sri Lankan Travel Vloggers” from Tourism Culture & Communication, Volume 25, Number 4, 2025.
Dr. Jayathilaka was presented her Senate Honours award on February 26th, 2026 from the Vice-Chancellor of Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine (GWUIM) where Dr. Jayathilaka currently serves as Dean for the Department of Indigenous Social Sciences.
